Add a Button

Buttons drive action in your emails. Use the button block to create clear calls to action that link to your website, product, or landing page.

Add a Button Block

  1. Drag the Button block from the block palette onto your canvas.
  2. Double-click the button text to edit it inline. Type your call-to-action text (for example, "Get Started" or "Shop Now").
  3. In the settings panel, enter the destination URL in the Link field.

Choose a Style

The button block offers two style variants:

  • Solid — A filled button with a background color. You can set both the button color and the text color independently.
  • Outline — A bordered button with a transparent background. The border and text use the button color you select.

Select your preferred style in the settings panel under Style.

Customize Appearance

Colors

Use the color pickers in the settings panel to customize:

  • Button Color — The fill color (solid style) or border color (outline style).
  • Text Color — Available for the solid style. For outline buttons, the text color matches the button color automatically.

Alignment

Set the button alignment to Left, Center, or Right using the alignment buttons in the settings panel. Center alignment is the most common choice for email buttons.

Border Radius

Adjust the border radius slider to control how rounded the button corners are. A value of 0 gives sharp corners. Higher values create a pill-shaped button.

Padding

Use the padding controls to adjust the space inside the button (between the text and the button edges). This controls how large the clickable area feels.

Mobile Settings

Expand the responsive settings to configure how the button behaves on mobile:

  • Hide on mobile or Hide on desktop — Toggle visibility per device type.

Tips

  • Keep button text short and action-oriented — "Start Free Trial" works better than "Click Here to Begin Your Free Trial".
  • Use a contrasting color so the button stands out from the surrounding content.
  • One primary button per email section keeps the reader focused.
