Add an Image
Add images to your email to showcase products, reinforce your brand, or add visual interest. You can upload images directly or use an external URL.
Add an Image Block
- Drag the Image block from the block palette onto your canvas.
- The settings panel shows the image configuration options.
Upload an Image
The image block includes a built-in upload area where you can add images directly:
- Drag and drop an image file onto the upload area, or click to browse your computer.
- Supported formats: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, and SVG.
- Maximum file size: 5MB per image.
The upload area shows the current status:
- Uploading... — Your image is being processed.
- Uploaded — The image is ready and appears on the canvas.
If the upload fails, an error message appears below the upload area.
Use an External URL
If your image is already hosted online, you can paste the URL instead of uploading. Below the upload area, enter the image URL in the URL field. The image appears on the canvas once the URL is valid.
Alt Text
Enter a description in the Alt Text field. Alt text is required — it describes the image for screen readers and displays when images are blocked by email clients.
Set the Width
Choose how the image is sized using the width options in the settings panel:
- Full Width — The image stretches to fill 100% of its container.
- Auto — The image displays at its natural size.
- Custom — Set a specific pixel width between
50pxand600px.
Alignment
Set the image alignment to Left, Center, or Right. This applies when the image is narrower than its container.
Border Radius
Use the border radius input to add rounded corners to the image. A value of 0 gives sharp corners. Values up to 50 are supported. Note that some email clients (particularly Outlook) have limited support for border radius on images.
Mobile Settings
Images automatically scale down to fit mobile screens. You can also:
- Hide on mobile — Toggle to hide the image on mobile devices.
- Hide on desktop — Toggle to show the image only on mobile.
Tips
- Always fill in alt text — many email clients block images by default, and alt text ensures your message still comes through.
- Keep image file sizes small (under 200KB per image) for faster loading in email clients.
- A width of
600pxor less works best for email, as most email clients limit the content area to around 600 pixels. - If using an external URL, make sure the image is hosted on a reliable service and the URL is publicly accessible.
