Use Spacers and Dividers

Spacers and dividers help you control the visual rhythm of your email. Use spacers to add breathing room between blocks and dividers to create clear section breaks.

Spacer Block

A spacer adds vertical white space between blocks. It contains no visible content — it is purely structural.

Add a Spacer

  1. Drag the Spacer block from the block palette onto your canvas.
  2. In the settings panel, use the Height slider to set the amount of vertical space. The range is 8px to 120px.

When selected, the spacer displays a visual height indicator so you can see exactly how much space it occupies.

Mobile Height

Enable the Mobile height toggle in the responsive settings to set a different spacer height on mobile devices. This is useful when desktop spacing feels too large on a phone screen.

Divider Block

A divider adds a horizontal line to visually separate sections of your email.

Add a Divider

  1. Drag the Divider block from the block palette onto your canvas.
  2. Customize the line appearance in the settings panel.

Customize the Divider

  • Line Color — Click the color picker or enter a hex value to set the line color.
  • Thickness — Set the line thickness from 1px to 10px. A value of 1px gives a subtle hairline; thicker values create a bolder separation.
  • Vertical Spacing — Control the padding above and below the line, from 0px to 100px. This determines how much space surrounds the divider.

When to Use Each

  • Use a spacer when you want invisible breathing room between blocks — for example, between a headline and body text, or before a footer.
  • Use a divider when you want a visible line to signal a change in topic or section — for example, between the main content and a footer, or between two distinct content areas.
