Invite Team Members

Invite team members to collaborate on templates in your Templated account. Each member gets their own login and can access shared templates based on their role.

Member Roles

Templated has three roles with different permission levels:

  • Owner — Full access to all features, billing, and account settings. Each account has one owner.
  • Admin — Can manage templates, integrations, and members. Cannot access billing.
  • Member — Can create and edit templates. Cannot manage integrations or invite other members.

Send an Invitation

  1. Go to your account settings.
  2. Navigate to the members section.
  3. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
  4. Select a role for the new member.
  5. Click Send Invite.

The invited person receives an email with a link to join your account. The invitation link expires after a set period.

Invitation Status

Each invitation has a status:

  • Pending — The invitation has been sent but not yet accepted.
  • Accepted — The person has joined your account.
  • Declined — The person declined the invitation.
  • Expired — The invitation link has expired. You can resend it.

You can resend a pending or expired invitation if the person has not yet joined.

Team Member Limits

The number of team members you can invite depends on your plan:

  • Free — Owner only (no additional members)
  • Pro — Up to 5 team members
  • Business — Unlimited team members
