Set Up Your Brand Kit
Your Brand Kit stores your brand identity — colors, fonts, logo, and tone — so every template you create matches your style automatically. You can set it up manually or extract your brand from your website in seconds.
Open the Brand Kit
Click Brand Kit in the left navigation. The Brand Kit page has two tabs:
- Brand Identity — Colors, logo, fonts, style, tone, and company info
- Custom Fonts — Import Google Fonts and upload your own font files
Extract Your Brand from a Website
On Pro and Business plans, you can auto-detect your brand from any website.
- On the Brand Identity tab, click Extract from website.
- Paste your website URL (e.g.,
yourcompany.com) and click Extract. - Templated analyzes the page and detects your colors, fonts, and logo.
- Review the results. If a font is not available in Google Fonts, you will see a warning — you can upload it on the Custom Fonts tab.
- Click Apply to Brand Kit to populate your settings.
Extracted logos are re-hosted on Templated's CDN so they display reliably in every email client. You can adjust any extracted values after applying.
Configure Manually
You can also set each Brand Kit field by hand.

- Secondary — A supporting color (optional).
- Accent — A highlight color (optional).
Enter hex values directly or use the color picker.

Choose your preferred fonts from 1,900+ Google Fonts, imported fonts, or any custom fonts you have uploaded:

- Body font — Used for paragraph text.

- Brand tone — Professional, Casual, Playful, Bold, or Minimal.

Import Google Fonts
On the Custom Fonts tab, you can search and import any font from the full Google Fonts catalog (1,900+ fonts). This feature is available on all plans, including Free.
- Go to the Custom Fonts tab.
- Type a font name in the Search Google Fonts field (e.g., "Meow Script" or "Playfair Display").
- Browse the results. Each result shows the font name and category.
- Click Add next to the font you want. The font is saved to your account and appears in the font picker across all templates.
Imported Google Fonts show up under Your Fonts in the editor font picker for quick access. You can remove an imported font at any time by clicking the delete icon next to it.
Upload Custom Fonts
On Pro and Business plans, you can upload your own font files on the Custom Fonts tab. This is useful for proprietary or licensed fonts that are not available in Google Fonts.

.ttf,.otf, or.woff2file. - The font appears in your custom fonts list and becomes available in the font picker.
